First day of 1st grade

We took Mallory to school this morning. First day of 1st grade. She was very excited. I walked her in and Philip drove around. We ask her if she would like to go in by herself but she said no. As we entered we saw Mrs.Shawn Dickinson leaving. With cam corder in hand she talked to Mallory. She walked down the hall very confidently and spoke to people she knew from last year. One adult was a little shocked but glad Mallory spoke to her. Mallory said " Hi Mrs Bailsman" Mrs Bailsman said "Hi Mallory" with a smile on her face. Then we walked into the class room Mallory as happy as could be said " Hi Mrs. Moore". Emptied her backpack and put her lunch box up and sat down at her desk and started working. You would thought she knew what to do. It is impressive to see her at school. You see a little nerves and a little excitement.

little news

Not sure where to start. Andrea ans her family moved to Dallas. We were all sad. Mallory has not said much. The one thing I can remember is "Can we go to Ria's new house" .I thing Mallory is ready to go back to Dallas. On Monday we had lunch at the mall with Katie. We went to the children's museum. I was watching Mallory interact with the others. She and one little girl introduced there self and then shook hands. It was really cute.

Last night Philip and I took Mallory to meet the teacher night. Would you believe Mallory bounce out of bed at 7:30AM ready to meet her teacher. I was not. Philip put her in the living room to play the wii. That work until 8:00AM. I some how convince her to not wear her first day of school dress. Out we went to pass the day by and wait for 3:30pm. We were headed out the door when I notice something on Mallory's short. So it was change shorts or take the top off and put on the dress. You got it she put on the dress. Her teacher will be Mrs. Moore. She seems like a very nice teacher. She did remember Mallory for lunch duty last school year. The other people we talked to said that we would like Mrs. Moore she is a wonderful teacher.
Mallory is ready and excited to go to school on Monday. More on that with pictures.

Fun fun fun

OK so Gran and Pops are better at posting. I keep putting it off. We have been busy here in the Sinquefield's world. We went to NASA Houston Space Center. Had a great time. As you can see from Grans post we went to California. What a road trip! I think Mallory did better on the road than I did. I should say I did not get bad car sick. We came home for a few days and then took a day trip to Galveston. We road the ferry to Crystal Beach and back to the main island for dinner. We even rented a "bicycle" and road on the sea wall. Mallory loved it. Of course she did not pedaled. We stayed home for about seven to ten days. Next, Mallory and I went to Oklahoma to visit Gran and Pops. Had a blast there! Mallory loved roller blading on the trail around their pond. We managed to convince her to wait till after dinner. It was so HOT any other time. When Mallory would roller blade she would remember she wanted to go fishing. Our list night there Pops got the fishing pole and she went "fishing" using for bait the hamburger patty she did not eat of dinner.

We headed home on Monday, August 4. We stop in Dallas to have lunch with Jacquie, Lynlee, Andrea, Kylee and Kenna. We headed on our way home with Andrea and her girls following us. Andrea got a message that the clinic was closed on Tuesday because of the hurricane. Philip was working on the disaster recover team at work. So we all turned around in Corsicana and went back to Dallas. The four cousins had lots of fun the rest of the week. They especially enjoyed a place called Going Bonkers.

We came home so we could help Andrea and Brannon pack. We have watched the three girls play very well together in moving boxes for hours.
